This is what some of our customers say about the LINE PATROLMANTM
Andy Oakley, Continuous Improvement Manager HP Foods (Danone) says
"HP Foods are using the Line Patrolman as a tool for line change-over and induction sealer monitoring. It has proved to be a very useful tool for induction sealer performance optimisation, improving and speeding up machine set-up post change-over. With it's easy to read display, and ease of set-up, the Line Patrolman has become a key Engineering & Qualitative tool."
Leen Verhoeven, Technical Packaging Manager of Crompton Europe, who purchased a first unit for their Netherlands plant in 2003 and then a second for their Italian operation in 2004 says:
"We use the LINE PATROLMANTM as a tool for fine tuning and controlling the equipment for an optimum operation with a resultant reduction of bottle leakage complaints. For UN homologation and ADR regulations we have to set up a quality plan demonstrating proper pail and bottle sealing. The LINE PATROLMANTM is the tool we use to demonstrate optimum adjusted and controlled HF sealing equipment."
Attila Borzak Senior Packaging Technologist at GlaxoSmithKline Ware says
"We used the line patrolman when transferring product from one line to another. In the past this meant we had to carry out a number of exercises to confirm adequate sealing. Using the patrolman readings for power were taken from one line and used to set the power on the new induction sealer. This cut out the need for additional testing saving on line time and materials."
Enercon Industries of Aylesbury say:
"World leaders in induction cap sealing Enercon Industries, use and sell Cap Solutions E.S.P Patrolman. They can confirm that the Patrolman independently checks and monitors the setting of their induction capsealers. Richard Bull, Managing Director of Enercon explains that The E.S.P is very easy to use both in the initial setting up of the machine and checking the parameters throughout production."
Chris Harrison, New Product Development Engineer at Boots the Chemist:
"We use the LINE PATROLMANTM to set our induction seal lines and it helps greatly where we pack the same bottle on several production lines which may be running at different speeds.
We have also found the fault finding feature very useful. We recently had a sealing problem and didn't know the cause. The LINE PATROLMANTM proved that the induction sealer was working properly and helped us quickly trace the cause to faulty bottle necks."
Derrick Foster, Works Chemist at Agropharm Ltd, who were one of our first customers says
"The Patrolman is invaluable to our business, doing away with the need to waste much time and many bottles as we used to do with the old 'trial and error' method. We know that with a Patrolman reading of between 35 and 39 we get a good seal without burning. The lab people also use the Patrolman when preparing one-off samples for customers and get a reliable seal first time.
We also use the Patrolman to ensure that our seals are good throughout the day by checking the reading at regular intervals and taking corrective action if necessary. In QC terms this means that we can be confident all bottles in a large consignment have good seals."
Martin Usher, Managing Director of Grotech Ltd, first trialled a LINE PATROLMANTM when they had a particularly difficult application and says:
"We were struggling to meet a customer's requirement for induction sealing a difficult application close to the limit of our equipment's capability. The LINE PATROLMANTM gave us confidence that we were achieving a consistent performance and convinced the customer that we are in control of our quality management. It is now regularly used on all our induction sealing activities."
Nick Rowe, Packaging Technologist, Frucor Beverages Ltd, New Zealand says
"We purchased the LINE PATROLMANTM to give increased accuracy in the control of our induction sealing process. The LINE PATROLMANTM enables us to eliminate trial and error from the sealing process, ensuring we can achieve seals that will protect the integrity of the product, yet allow easy access for the consumer."
Peter Tindale, Product Manager of ITW InductionSealing, who manufacture and sell Pillar induction sealing machines in Europe, says:
"We have tested the LINE PATROLMANTM and find it useful to confirm set up parameters and it also helps with fault diagnosis if induction sealing problems occur".
Paul Rollason of Relco Ltd says
"The LINE PATROLMANTM is a good tool for establishing the optimum settings for sealing different containers and then quickly restoring those conditions on repeat runs"
